The World Blockchain Summit to be held in Nairobi, Kenya, aims to become the flagship event for the country to display its prowess and stance on Blockchain Technology (BT).

With the incorporation of BT into its governmental entities such as the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) and also making great strides in Healthcare with the help of big players such as Japan’s Toyota Shusho, Nairobi has etched itself as a major stop for the world of Blockchain Technology!

World Blockchain Summit will feature conferences and seminars that will address different facets behind the implementation of BT as well keynote addresses by eminent personalities such as Michael Kimani, Chairman of The Blockchain Association of Kenya, and Marco Robinson, founder of the world’s first asset-backed crypto-currency company, Naked Technologies.

A spokesperson for the World Blockchain Summit said, “As the world decides its course of action on Blockchain and crypto-currency, Kenya has taken a firm stance on the matter. The country has stressed on its ambition to become the hub for Blockchain technology (BT) in the African continent by implementing the technology across different spheres and Governmental organizations. The incorporation of BT by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) and changing the way Healthcare functions has further cemented the country as a primary stop for BT.”
