If you’ve ever given your email ID to an internet or an online service, you probably have more emails than you can count. Every day is an endless deluge of emails from every business that you’ve ever interacted with. And while there are some email clients that know how to sort these emails so that they don’t get in the way, these emails still account for space used, which is billed to you.
Worse still, are those who purchase your email as a part of some list that was sold to them unethically, and incessantly mail you without your consent. Wouldn’t it be amazing if there was a way you could make all these unsolicited emailers pay for this? Well, turns out with blockchain technology, you can.
Meet BitBounce
BitBounce is an email plugin that gives you the power to make unsolicited emailers pay you to send you an email. With a simple and intuitive dashboard, you will be able to import your contacts from your email. From your contacts, you can whitelist email addresses that you want to receive emails from. Everyone else has to pay you in Credo Tokens for their emails to hit your inbox.
The platform is developed by husband and wife team Steward Dennis and Alexis Roizen-Dennis, and aims to put an end to spam emails. According to Coinjournal, BitBounce claims to have over 300,000 active users and more than 1.1 million registered accounts, which is growing at 46% MoM.
The company ran an ICO back in September and had raised over 11 million USD and since their ICO, the company claims to have grown 100X.
Launching their own exchange – CredoEx
BitBounce is launching CredoEx, a cryptocurrency exchange for BitBounce users. With CredoEx, users and companies can realize the value of their Credo tokens and easily buy, sell, and trade with others directly on the platform. It also provides a simple way for Bitbounce users to immediately convert their paid tokens into other currencies. For now, CredoEx will begin with a Credo Ether trading pairing.
“We see CredoEx positioning Credo as a central and important token within the crypto ecosystem by establishing active trading pairs with many other currencies and tokens. Today we support Credo to Ether pairing and plan to add other pairs with crypto and fiat currencies in the future based on demand.”
In addition to a source of liquidity for Credo, CredoEx will allow enterprises as well as sales and recruiting professionals to directly reach out to their customers and new potential customers via incentivized responses. Rather than paying for lists or spamming people, enterprises will only pay when someone responds to their email. Next quarter, BitBounce aims to release their enterprise version which will facilitate larger scale incentivized email marketing campaigns.
CredoEx launches on May 1 to all users
