One of the biggest mysteries of the internet world is back after quite a long time, and they are back with another shocking video threatening Elon Musk for his unthoughtful comments on Twitter. Up until last year, Elon Musk had huge respect and people used to admire him for making space exploration and electric cars a reality, but lately, his comments on cryptocurrencies have had ill effects on the whole market, leading to thousands of people losing their hard-earned money.
The Anonymous group has never had a specific goal- it can be taken by anyone on the street and pretend like they are a part of the anonymous. The only guiding principle for them has been- anti-oppression. They fight for social justice, and they want to help people whose voices cannot be heard.
With their tech-savvy abilities, they can get access to anything related to the web and internet, from crashing servers to leaking hacked private information- they can do it all. To name a few-
1. They hacked the world’s most hostile intranet and stole data of 15,000 North Koreans, and they said in their statement- “First we gonna wipe your data, then we gonna wipe your badass dictatorship government.” And they also did this-
2. The group directly hacked the GOP presidential candidate in 2016- Donald Trump and leaked his social security number, cell phone number and any other personal data.
While these are just a few cases in the history of Anonymous, the main targets have always been major corporations, religious groups, and governments. And for the first time- they are targeting one individual, i.e., Elon Musk, and they have clearly highlighted in the video that- his actions are costing people their hard-earned money. Even though it should be in their best interests to do their own research before investing, one person cannot control the market movement.
Last year, when the internet prankster who initiated this Anonymous movement, Aubrey Cottle, came out on Reddit, he said-
“Anonymous has all walks of life. The most infamous is, obviously, the hacker type, but just as important are the ones that mobilize online and spread awareness, do research, and collaborate in that manner. If you have a voice, you can help Anonymous.”
While the “Ask Me Anything” session went viral, we can clearly see why the group comes forward to address such issues happening worldwide, where many people are suffering because of one person’s point of view.
The video also mentions that Elon is not looking to save the world or show concern to humanity, but he is only rooting for superiority and saviour complex. Anonymous also shows many tweets online indicating people’s suffering in the crypto market because of Elon Musk’s tweets.
Another interesting thing highlighted in the video is the concerns Elon’s projects bring to the natural environment. Anonymous brings up Tesla and shares a piece of an article explaining how they are at the brink of pushing out the workers while the profits are continuing to climb. In addition to that, the video continues by saying children working in your lithium mines are subjected to more natural harm, and Elon is supporting dictators to control the mining process of these toxic products.
The video ended with Anonymous saying, “Expect Us” to Elon Musk, and it is now important to see this issue as something more than a joke or meme. These guys have targeted governments with perfection, so we have to see what they plan for Elon.
Update on the story:
Anonymous released a twitter post, and declined their involvement in the threaten video against Elon Musk.
