With an increasing number of successful Slovenian blockchain companies, the country is often described as the world’s crypto state. Determined to transform Europe into a global blockchain hub, the Blockchain Alliance Europe is hosting the European Blockchain Summit on April 11 in Slovenia. The list of exceptional speakers includes the Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, the co-founder of Crypto Valley Labs, Zug, Ralf Glabischnig, Slovenian Prime Minister Dr. Miro Cerar and many more.
One of the biggest growing pains in the blockchain industry is the lack of coherent and unambiguous market regulation. The goal of the European Blockchain Summit is to enhance cooperation between influential blockchain and government officials in an open discussion about the issues. This time, the Blockchain Alliance Europe, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and ConsenSys have joined forces to host an exceptional event with international speakers and participants, who will discuss the funding opportunities and initiatives for European blockchain companies. The event will undoubtedly provide ample opportunities for further collaboration.
Joseph Lubin, a blockchain pioneer, who co-founded Ethereum, the second-largest public blockchain by total value, is coming to the Summit as a keynote speaker. He is also a founder of ConsenSys, one of the largest blockchain technology startups based in Brooklyn.
Major opinion-leaders, such as Ralf Glabischnig, a co-founder of Crypto Valley Labs, Zug, and Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, Executive Chairman of the Malta Council for Science and Technology, will talk about blockchain and ICO regulation. Holm Keller, Executive Chairman of the kENUP Foundation, and the Grammy Award-winning musician Imogen Heap, who is also a celebrity ambassador for the blockchain-based live-music ecosystem Viberate, will share their experience on blockchain in the music industry, while Sam Cassatt, CSO of ConsenSys, Nino Vang, Co-founder of LedgerState and others will discuss how to apply blockchain to different industries, including medicine and finance. At the third panel, Stefan Klauser from ETH Zurich and other panelists will talk about the EU funding opportunities for blockchain.
The Blockchain Alliance Europe, who is one of the organizers of the European Blockchain Summit is an international organization that seeks to transform Slovenia, as well as Europe, into a global blockchain destination. Its purpose is for the members (Viberate, Spartan Solutions, Netis, Cofound.it, Hive Project, Sun Contract, SportyCo) to work together for the benefit of the individual and collective business development of European blockchain companies.
