Crypto art, being bought and sold as ERC-721 non-fungible tokens (NFT), is on the boom. Investors and traders are eyeing the top NFT Projects like it’s the next gold rush. Even NBA Top Shot is raking in serious moolah with its own model. But while novices might wonder why anyone would spend such cash on art you can’t even touch, others assert that art is art, irrespective of its form. They have greeted technology in the society of art with open arms, as this is what they are convinced is, the future.
While the digital art continues to be all the rage, we bring to you on a platter the artists hitting the jackpot. They hit the crypto shore like a tsunami after a tsunami.
1.Beeple

CGI artist Mike Winkelmann, famously known as Beeple, made a smashing sale of the defeated Donald Trump NFT for 6.6 million, the biggest record sale in NFT History. He made history last year, too, when he sold $582,000 of crypto art in five minutes flat, forming part of his $2,238,235 haul from selling a vast selection of crypto art over three days.
Dumbfounded? Hold on.
His 1.7 million-strong Instagram army results from him posting illustrations and animations every single day for the last 13 years!
This graphic designer and digital artist is prominent for developing a Flying Lotus video and concert visuals for Nicki Minaj and the king of rap, Eminem!

2. Trevor Jones

This Canadian artist is applauded for his incorporation of state of the art technology like Augmented reality. Redingerating Picasso’s palette and texture, Jones puts in cryptocurrency logos and other pertinent modern emblems and iconography.
He adores how the NFTs combat the plague artists, empowering artists with a part of auxiliary sales instantly, “rather than having to wait up to 30 days and sometimes more to receive payment from an art gallery.” Another milestone for crypto art was Jones’s EthGirl, sold off at 72.1 ETH ($10,027.50 at the time)
His paintings are eclectic, encircling a broad range of art. He has previously served as the Director of Art in Healthcare, where he delivered art workshops for disabled people.

The second-artist ruling the crypto art world after Beeple is the mysterious artist Pak. Yes, you heard it right. No one knows who Pak is. Hence they’ve nicknamed him “Satoshi of Crypto Art.”
Pak’s popular Instagram and Twitter account “Archillect” has Elon Musk among its million followers! Global auction house Sotheby’s dared to ask pak for the NFT he promised to give to any auction house who asked for it. They arenoware a proud owner of a unique NFT. Time isn’t far when art by Pak may be auctioned at Sotheby’s or Christie’s. Pak’s work, with a total value of $7.15 million and a single piece sold for almost $150,000, has tokenized performance and art into an NFT.

5. FEWoCIOUS
FEWoCIOUS, the pseudonym of a 17 year-old-artist who builds dreamlike computerized art.She turned to art to cope with difficult home life and isolation in a new school.
“If I’m painting, I don’t want to wait for this paint to dry. I’m sad. I want to just put it all out there.” says FEWoCIOUS who initially took money for art in NFTs as a scam. “I was like, what’s the catch? And they’re like, ‘no, we just want you guys to actually get noticed and compensated for your work and be seen as almost like a physical artist.’”
FEWoCIOUS, one of the biggest NFT artists,in her last high school year hasn’t zeroed in on pursuing art yet. After her recent piece ,“Moment i Fell in Love” sold for $25,000, she said, “Some people are like, ‘what does this mean?’ I’m like, I put blue because I’m sad. I’m gonna put it everywhere.”

6. Micah_johnson
Micah Johnson’ssä-v(ə-)rən-tē artwork wasn’t just sold for a gigantic $120,000 in Async art, it went on to win the NFT of the Year 2020!

7. Hackatao
The Italian art duo of Sergio Scalet and Nadia Squarci in 2012 abandoned Milan to dwell in an elegant village in the foothills of the Italian cliffs.
They carved small, graphic characters called Podmorks, and painted canvases using inks and acrylics. They then revamped their mode into digital crypto art.
“Our usual artistic process used to take a long time,” Scalet told Decrypt, “but with the blockchain and its speed, the creative need of thinking about something and seeing it realized immediately after was satisfied.It was possible to get to know artists from all over the world and discuss with them,” he says.

Calling herself “3D artist with a surreal futurist aesthetic”, Blake’s art betokens an inconceivable future, largely exhibited in the form of gorgeous automated women powered by clockwork and roses.
This innovative work got her marketing prospects by Fendi, Jimmy Choo, as well as the vodka brand Smirnoff. Katheryn now earns thousands of dollars per piece that she sells in the NFT markets.
